Victor and I met in school. He was a sophomore and I was a senior. We started dating in October of 2003. Victor proposed to me on March 1, 2008 at Forest Park. We had went to the Spaghetti Factory earlier that afternoon and I had told him before that I didn't want to be asked in front of a bunch of people and of course it was crowded so we had planned on taking a walk around the circle in downtown Indianapolis, but I had started feeling bad after we ate. Nothing was working out in his favor so he brought be back to Forest Park and he was nervous the whole time. That is where he asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. Heaven help me! LOL. He is a volunteer firefighter and works at Two Men and a Truck. I am a 9-1-1 dispatcher which I love very much. He is hoping to become full time on a fire department or police department in the near future. We recently bought a house together and are very excited about that. We are now planning and saving for a wedding next year.

We are planning our wedding for July 11, 2009. We decided on that date simply because my parents' anniversary is on August 11th and his parents' anniversary is on September 11th so we decided on July 11th. It just happened to fall on a Saturday! I am wanting to have it at Cicero Christian Church but that is not yet set in stone. It is a very pretty church, but also very expensive :( Our guest list keeps growing and growing. We are now up to over 250 people. We are blessed to know so many people that we are close to.
